The Reset Lab
Rest is how we resist.
Practice is how we heal.
The Reset Lab is for social impact leaders ready to radically shift how they live and work.Â
The world needs your leadership, but not at the expense of your wellbeing.
It’s time to reset how you work, lead, and live.
A word from our founder, Rochelle Younan-Montgomery:
Burnout is sneaky.
It creeps in through the little things: skipping breaks, pushing through headaches, telling yourself “just one more email, one more week."
Over time, the weight of personal stress grows heavier, and then the world adds its own layers: fractured relationships, entire communities under attack, climate anxiety, gun violence.Â
And you keep showing up: for your team, your family, your community, your mission. And one day, the spark fades. You resent your colleagues, partners, and family.Â
Your very survival depends on finding a fundamentally different way to work and lead.
We move at the speed of trust.
Inside the Lab, we:
✔  Restore vitality with mindfulness-based stress reduction practices.
✔  Align values with daily choices.
âś” Â Set clear, kind boundaries without abandoning collectivist values.
✔  Build resilience not by “bouncing back,” but by expanding capacity.
âś” Â Refuse isolation by practicing in community.Â
The Reset Lab is not another course or training packed with information you’ll never have time to use. We practice slowing down, resourcing the nervous system, and creating the safety to face hard truths.
Through breath, movement, dialogue, and accountability, the Reset Lab transforms emotional overwhelm into meaningful action.
We practice embodied leadership.
Whether you’re navigating burnout, leading through change, or just trying to catch your breath, The Reset Lab gives you the tools to lead with clarity, calm, and conviction.
This three month, small group experience blends mindfulness, nervous-system regulation, and restorative dialogue to help you slow down, reconnect, and rebuild trust with yourself and your work.
We meet weekly in community, practicing embodied leadership.
By the end, you’ll be lighter, clearer, and better resourced to lead with purpose. No overfunctioning required.Â
What you’ll experience:
✔  Practice: Reset your nervous system through guided breathwork, meditation, and movement.
✔  Reflection: Identify what’s draining you and realign with what matters.
✔  Connection: Build community with leaders who get it.
✔  Integration: Turn insights into your daily rhythm.Â
I'm Rochelle Younan-Montgomery.
I help social impact leaders keep their best people, rebuild trust, and lead with clarity without burning everyone out.Â
Life moves fast. The Reset Lab is spacious enough for you to move at your own pace, yet structured enough to hold you accountable.Â

Damaris Pereda, Deputy Director, PERIOD.
"In the middle of the hustle, the Reset Lab gave me the space to pause and do something for myself. That’s really difficult at work, but I was able to show up and benefit from the prompts and reflections Rochelle guided us through. It’s something I want to continue building into my life."
Meet your Guide, Rochelle.
After burning out early in her career, relocating, moving into a new Director role, and experiencing a traumatic miscarriage, Rochelle realized the pace she was living was unsustainable. She turned toward somatic practices, training as a yoga teacher and weaving body-based tools into leadership.
Today she is the founder of the Reset, a mother of two, and a lifelong advocate for social and environmental justice. She has taught over 90,000 students, trained more than 1,000 professionals, and partnered with organizations like World Wildlife Fund and NPR. Rochelle is also a published author, an award-winning restorative leader, and a Forbes-featured coach.
She created the Reset Lab so social impact leaders do not have to burn out the way she did. Instead, they can stay connected to their bodies and values, restore trust, and build resilience in the face of urgency and uncertainty.

“What I’m most proud of is being able to apply what I learned in Reset Lab in real-life situations. Whether it was taking a moment to ground myself, setting intentions, or using conversation frameworks in tense moments, I could feel the tools working. That’s been powerful.”Â

The Reset Lab is designed with that in mind. It’s a hybrid experience:

Self-paced practices you can return to anytime, at your own pace.
-
Live group coaching sessions for the depth, clarity, and community you can’t create on your own.

“What I wanted most from Reset Lab was to feel more grounded, connected, and present. And now I do. I’m deepening what presence means for me, and that feels really great.”
Money is like water; it’s a precious, life-giving resource. Money should be a tool of love that facilitates relationships and helps us thrive, rather than something that hurts and divides us. If we use it for sacred, life-giving, restorative purposes, it can be medicine.
